This project is a research on Glossolalia (speaking in tongue). It tends toward a written format that allows the transcription of meaningfull content into pure form. We recognize it is language, written word, but the very meaning of is erased and becomes a form in itself. It consists of written transription of a broad documentation on glossolalia, copied on a scanner, using this technological tool as a time and space mesuring device. The scans shows also the mark of the fingers during the transcription and link it to the "digit": At the same time the finger and the digital medium.
These experiments were then used during the theatre of the Best Books, a project with artist Joelle Tuerlinckx and the Werkplaats Typografie at the Netwerk art center, in Aalst, Belgium.
